  • Summer Nude

Quote:I see Nude, I see Naked but I see no Glamour.

A rather pointless and pedantic comment from someone with no photo's in their portfolio who obviously unaware that there is a limited choice of primary tags in the list when adding an image.

As you seem to find this image of little merit just ignore it and move on!

  • Cosford

I used to maintain Lightnings in my early RAF career both in the UK and Germany, I very nearly got to fly in a two seat trainer, but alas the aircraft became unserviceable so no flight.

  • Deltic-for the train lovers

    Good capture.

I think you will find that the locomotive is a BR Class 37 according to the North Norfolk Railway web site.

I like #2 it has more in it to interest me and the base of the candlestick is not lost in deep shadow.

  • Preparing for a very cold war...

This is an excellent photo of a Lightning FMk6 in a QRA shed showing good detail where it maters.

It has been a long time since I worked on the Lightning, I used to maintain the FMk1a, FMk2, FMk2a and TMk4 versions in the early 1970's at RAF Coltishall, Norfolk and RAF GŁtersloh, Germany and there is a photo of me at the top of the steps strapping in a pilot during a real scramble on my web site.

  • You have a terrific way with portraits, especially when capturing the subjects eyes. Beautiful portraits beautifully carried out.
