Woke early and after a coffee looked out of the window at a partially cloudy sky. Decided to get the 5D and the 12-24mm lens packed into the bag along with remote trigger release, spare battery and memory card. Even checked to make sure the tripod head base plate was fitted ( I've left this off on several occasions1). Looked out again at 0630 before filling the flask..... sky still partially cloudy. At 0700 got he coat and boots on, picked up the backpack and tripod then off to catch the 0710 bus to Newbiggin. On opening the back door was greeted with the sight and sound of rain bouncing off the deck..... the language was blue.
After getting the gear stowed away and unwinding decided to take some shots of the manikin. I promised yesterday to follow up on the idea I had when manipulating the toy into different poses. Well here's what came to mind....
...... the pack.
Forecast for a clear sky tonight. Will be able to take a moon shot or two then MAYBE a bus trip to Newbiggin for the dawn/sunrise.
