After a half decent attempt at creating space pics in PS, I've set myself a challenge for the coming week, trying to create realistic northern lights.
.... this was my first attempt........not very convincing. Hopefully things will become a little more lifelike the more practice I put in. Going off the pessimistic outlook with the weather I'll have plenty of time on my hands.
The image I used was taken four years ago at Cresswell in Northumberland in late May around midnight. A fifteen minute exposure as I recall. (was published in DSLR User)
