When having a rummage in the tool box got my eye onto the multi tool I use for the bike. Got the old piece of A2 card onto the kitchen bench and placed the tool and a couple of nuts down ready for a shot or two.
Used the SX50 on the tripod set to manual at f8. Set the 2 second self timer then pressed the shutter.
During post processing turned to mono, added a couple of textures for interest and to hide the stains on the old piece of card.....
..... One thing about using the compact is that the depth of field is so much deeper than that of a DSLR with a macro lens. No need for focus stacking on this one. forgot to mention ..... natural light, no reflectors...... could have done with one or two maybe. Took three exposures to get the composition right, this one being the third
