Final set of rubbish pics taken along the two mile stretch of the Wansbeck.
It was an earlier start today, left the house at nine thirty. A lovely clear start to the day with a cold wind blowing. Started from just past the Stakeford bridge up to Sheepwash bridge.
....... as I was composing the shot got my eye on the rowers........
...... The now closed shop and warden centre....... cuts to the budget
.......A water voles eye view
........ Loved this Willow on the side of the river for years.
......... The shirt on the back of the bloke on the left needs an iron.
......... End of the two mile stretch. Sheepwash bridge...... wrong time of the day to take this shot ... too much sun!
...... This shot is a first for me. When enjoying a coffee got my eye on something swimming ....... turned out to be an otter. First time I've seen one in the wild. May have to go back to a different spot with the sun behind me
.... back to sunny Ashington
I've updated this blog to include the latest phase of the moon during a clear spell a little earlier!
