More time with the Splashart machine today.

Had a go with the food colouring in the bottom glass container. To be honest I'm not happy with the result.....

...... things seem to work better with the colouring in the reservoir, which I don't like doing. I had a blocked valve last week after adding a red colour. I t seems after a while the pigments in the colour began to solidify for some reason. It took ages to clear the blockage.

Ah - the red colouring is a tad thick but smells lovely Smile I run a load of clean water through the valve whenever I use anything other than plain water - so far so good - fingers crossed!

The colouring was in for around two hours before things starts to happen, Going to make sure if I add colour it'll only be for a short period. I've grown rather fond of processing in mono. No doubt curiosity will see me dabbling with other colour.

I think other colours will be ok - red is definitely the worst Smile I might get the kit out again over the weekend - busy on Saturday, garage blitzing on Sunday but nothing else planned so digits crossed!
