A downturn with the weather today saw me giving it licks with the water drops using my SX50. It took ages to get things set up and going but once running I got some spectacular results......

........ It was a bit of a faff, but the results were more than I expected. The images were shot in jpeg only and a future session will now be shot in RAW

The settings used with the SX50 are providing more explosive collisions than those used for the 40D with 50mm macro, the DOF is a lot deeper as well

8 of 52 - Part 1 - Rowan Berries.

Picked this sprig of berries and left them overnight. I like the way the leaves have curled. These will be left under the sink for the berries to shrivel, along with the rest of aging plant life.

Thanks Ian, it took some messing about to get there but patience paid off. I had to walk away a couple of times!
