....... with the camera.
The first shot of the day was at around six using the fisheye lens before sunrise. I've been wanting this shot for a while now and thought I had it until I got home. To my horror I'd forgotten the most important thing about using a manual lens and that is that it's manual! The foreground is the only thing in focus. Should have checked the infinity setting on the lens. ........
.......there's always the morn!
Whilst sitting in the yard having a coffee I checked the app. Flight radar for any air traffic, good job I did, I had seconds to get the SX50 from the sitting room and ready to be able to snap this Aer Lingus flight from Dublin to Newcastle.......
Around 08:30 I was in the yard emptying some rubbish when a roofer working on the neighbours house caught my eye. The SX50 was nice and handy to get this shot. Don't know where or how those marks appeared on his backside......best not to dwell on it!.......
It was a cracking day weather wise. At around 11:00 I got it into my mind to get the bus to Newbiggin and spend a bit of time at the seaside.
Walking along the prom I noticed a couple of cobles returning to shore. Here's a few snaps of the boats and recovery tractors.......
Things were getting a little uncomfortable with the heat so made it to the bus stop......
Had time to get this shot of the clock atop the golf course clubhouse.......
The jackstaff was void of anything flying...... no royalty having a round today!
The bus came a few minutes later. A busy day!
