....... Couple of hours yesterday in the park.
It was such a glorious day I made it down there with the intention of sitting in the peace and quiet. Got a suprise when getting there. The pavillion was heaving with old folk sitting inside and out with a load of carers doing their thing......
Turned out a local charity called Mind Active regularly take a load of people suffering from dementia to different places every week for a day out!
Hadn't been there long when a eukalali group turned up and set up the gear then started playing to the audience.
.
..
.... changed lenses and moved around to a better vantage point and took a few shots.
.
I got carried away and spent an hour listening to the music, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I must add that the olduns were well looked after and catered for by the dedicated staff who treated them with the respect and dignity they deserve. My hat goes off to the charity.
After getting home I flaked out on the sofa for a couple of hours!
After watching the olympics for a while last night it was early to bed with the alarm set for three, which I didn't need, the eyes were open at 02:45.
The sky was crystal clear as forecast. After a coffee got the fish eye lens onto the camera and set to manual, 20 seconds at f3.5, iso 1600 and put the camera onto the tripod.
Took the shot and was chuffed with my first attempt. Straight from the camera......
Made do with this and processed the image using the apps Snapseed and Photoshop Touch.
Not bad for a first go....thought the sky could do with a bit more interest ..... added a moon!
........ now for the Milky Way.......?
