sitting having a coffee I had the idea of trying a shot looking down the back lane with the Olympus and Samyang fisheye. I didn't have much hope in trying to get any stars in the shot with the high amount of light pollution there is to contend with. Low and behold when I was processing this image was suprised to fing that stars had shown. The constellation of Orion can be clearly seen toward the top of the lampost to the right.........
the resolution for images submitted to blogs isn't very good. If you look in my portfolio the stars can be clearly seen. Turned out better than expected even with this mornings half moon
Decided at nine thirty to nip to the main drag and have a Greggs breakfast deal. Took the iPad and took a pic of the ongoing transformation to the street. Work started in May and seems as if little progress is happening. Five bloody months it's taken up till now, a long time just to transform a road.
The hi-vis workwear shows up well.......
