Sitting having a coffee this morning I hatched a plan for part 4 of this series by going to the lake and having a go with the swans.
I had a half loaf of nearly out of date bread and tore it up into swan size pieces then into a carrier bag.......
Put a flask up and made my way on the bike to the far end of the lake where folk go to feed the birds.......
Got the bike on its stand and threw the bread pieces about. Got the iPad switched on and waited a few seconds for the ravenous hoard to appear.....

Swans, Canada geese, mallards, coots, herring gulls and black headed gulls all dived in for a bit of the action.
It took all of a few minutes for the bread and most of the flock to disappear...........
