..... for a couple of hours this afternoon. Overcast sky today, thankful there was only a breeze blowing and not a gale.
I took the OMD10 and two lens, the 9-18mm and 40-150mm. Glad I packed both. My first stop was the boatyard for a wide angle shot.......
As I was walking along the shoreline to the west of the church, there just above the high watermark was a seal pup. Glad I had the 40-150 with me as I didn't want to get too close and panic the animal. Rattled off a few shots before leaving it in peace.

I've seen seals on the rocks before and they always make their way back to sea on the next high tide. The reason they end up stranded is beacause of exhaustion, after a good kip they're as right as rain.
The nearest seal colony is on the Farne Islands, some thirty odd miles north. It came a long way.
