Such a glorious start to the day up here....... makes a welcome change.
Dusted off the bus pass and got myself to Newbiggin to try out the Olympus 9-18mm lens with the E-M10.
Here's a few shots. Aperture priority @ f16, various shutter speeds, 200 ISO.........
....... not my favourite time of day for taking pics ...... between 11:30-12:30...... Light a bit to harsh for me.
Over the moon with the lens. Sharp from corner to corner, edge to edge and front to back.
All straight from the camera, the only processing was adding the white frames.
I am still the keeper of a Canon 5D and various lenses, my favourite being the Sigma 12-24mm which I've had for twelve years. All the gear is well worn and about clapped out now and last summer decided to change over to the micro four thirds system buying an Olympus OMD10 which gives excellent image quality and weighs a fraction of the heavy Canon gear, Glad I made the switch.
