First time I've fed the snake..... put the dead mouse into the tank and the snake didn't seem interested at first. I no sooner picked up the mouse by the tail to try and encourage it to feed when suddenly it struck...... dear me, it happened in a flash......

Omega 3 fish oil capsules....

Good for the heart, also good to use as a subject through a macro lens. I liked the light and colour.

I remember when we used to keep snakes and had a a couple of Garter snakes and a Boa Constrictor.

The Garters got my fingers a couple of times while I was dangling worms and a few other goodies in front of them. The Boa grabbed my dad's hand once when he was going to feed it a dead mouse. Gloves became a necessity in the case of the Boa as it struck lightningly fast and had teeth like razor blades. Tongue

I had a bleeding finger on more than one occasion and my dad was even worse off. Smile

Their teeth point backwards into their mouths so it's difficult for prey to get free. It took a bit of gentle finger wiggling before the Garters would let go. Smile
