OMD 10 .....

22 Jun 2015 10:21AM   Views : 643 Unique : 427 zoom test.

Threw some chicken onto the shed roof and got the camera ready together with the Olympus 40-150 lens. Set the in-camera digital zoom to " on " and waited for the expected flock of shitehawks to arrive ....... it took about twenty seconds.
Had to decrease the zoom to 116mm to get the whole herring gull into the frame.
In camera JPEG file, 320th sec @ f8, ISO 200

.... Processed with the app. Snapseed/details. Not a bad result. There is some noise at 3X digital zoom.

Of course all this seems a waste of time when the same result can be had by cropping the normal sized image during post processing! "There's always the morn"

Been a while since I’ve shared a blog or two. A few years ago I started to produce composite images, mainly of dried vegetables and locusts etc. I did dabble in more complicated stuff but lost interest. After looking though some of the old stuff I’ve...

Omega 3 fish oil capsules....

Good for the heart, also good to use as a subject through a macro lens. I liked the light and colour.
