..... yes, it was bucketing down this morning.
Standing at the back door wondering when it was going to stop, as you do, I got my eye onto this little fella on one of the clothes pegs.
....... wearing a rain hat!.........

Had to slip this one in from my trip out with bro on Friday.
This is the view from the bridge at Thropton, looking over to Ryehill farm, nearly a mile away! Taken with my SX50.
When I was a kid I used to stay at the far left cottage with relations that used to work the farm. Sitting at the foot of the Simonsde Hills, 1400ft above sea level, I used to run up there! ........ wouldn't like to try it now! Brings back some of the happiest memories I have.
My dad used to ship me there each year for a fortnight during the school holidays from the age of nine to thirteen. That view is something else! It's even better from the top.
