After listening to several reports of a washed up fishing boat at the mouth of the River Wansbeck, I decided to have a ride to the scene and weigh up the situation.
Getting there is by means of a rough and clarty public footpath, getting off the bike, then crossing about 400 yards of soft sand.......

After a short rest to catch my breath it was a short walk to the boat. It looks as if I'll be able to shoot a scene at both dawn and/or sunset. Keep your eyes peeled for further reports.
