...... beckoned this morning. Went up to see how far the work was coming along. Seems as if the end is in sight at last, the tarmac was being laid....

It's taken six months to get this far.

As it was a sunny day I took the Canon SX50 out for a spin. Decided to use the zoom on the camera to home in on what I thought were weeds growing in the chimney stack of a shop roof, turned out to be a beech tree sapling, wonder how the seed got up there ........

Gave it some distress........

........as I did with the what's left of the station platforms since it was closed in the sixties.
