......non stop rain up here tonight, as it is in most of the country.
Was sitting watching a heap of ***** on the telly and thought there must be better things to do than start going brain dead watching rubbish. Had a look outside and found the precipitation was getting heavier. I decided to catch a few moments on camera trying out different settings shooting handheld.

..... shutter to slow......

...... not quite......

...... just about what I was after.

Life would have been easier if I'd have used a tripod of course, but space just inside the door way was limited to be able to get the lampost into view. Settings....... tv 125th, f5.6, ISO 8000, no in-camera noise reduction.
