A quick view of Dave87's recent activity.

  • Chair, Stair & Hair

It was the excellent detail captured in those whites on the stairs that attracted me.

One not to walk past without taking a shot.

  • Come Inside

By going in close and cropping off the top of the head has worked a real treat John and has placed those super eyes in a very powerful part of the frame. Very much enjoyed my viewing time spent viewing V1 and V2 here. Smashing.

  • Making the cut.

Have to agree with the camera club judges on this one - There are so many photographic opportunities down at the local harbour for those photographers who can see them - and this is an excellent example.

Ticks all the boxes for me.

You captured this moment in time superbly John. Being a fan of mono photography extra marks also awarded for the detail captured in the blackís.

  • Sooty & Sweep

Excellent choice of mono John that suits the subjects viewed here together with the history of this event so well. The composition works a treat with the subjects nicely placed in the frame, the ladies arm around the other producing the feeling of friendship, and the sweeps brushes making good use of the top left and right of the frame.

  • Biker Mum

You struck lucky here John with all of those big bikes in the background producing an excellent backdrop for this Biker Mum. Echo all above comments with extra marks awarded because you have placed her scooter superbly in the frame allowing it room to move into the photo. Enjoyed my viewing time here and pleased to be number 30.
