Made in Cornwall.

By Dave87
Jen and I recently returned from a visit to Cornwall but we didnít find it the driest place on earth, it rained most days last week. Still had a great time nevertheless and took a few shots during our visits to all types of places. Hereís the first few of them. Thanks for looking and wish you a nice week.

These are just some of the tin mining remains on the coast at Botallack not far from Lands End. This area is worth a visit.

Nice image, I'm heading down to cornwall next week, a short visit myself, hopefully it will be dry! Your image make me think of what it must have been like for those that worked in these extreme locations. A fab image

Great to have you back on site, Dave, and armed with a very satisfying series. The sweeping view in #6 is geat but I'm going to admit a preference for the first four, then refine my choice to #2 for the combination of wonderful tones, the boiling sea, the distant mist and above all the portrait format to emphasise the precipitous human hold on the landscape.

Good to see you back. I tend to go for V2 (vertical...), but V4 suggests seriously wet knees. You realise ljh will probably charge you royalties on these??

fantastic mate, a joy to view. I really wish i had been even half good at photography when i was down there as Cornwall and photography go hand in glove. As it was at the time i was rubbish so the shots i came back with were poor, and no where near as good as these. A wasted opportunity for me. Loved looking at these though mate

Great pictures Dave - I must say I have never been to Botallack. I shall have to make a visit. I must say its difficult to choose but I'll go with V1. (About time we had some pics from you - but worth waiting for)
