Thanks Jeff, unfortunately closed for checks today.
I'd hope to get the Gondola at 1/3 transit.

  • Bolsover Castle 7

Took years before I finally visited Bolsover, a visit I really enjoyed.
This is a dramatic B&W shot - The lead in of the walls and path is excellent with centring of the statue to bring the focus across to the main building.
One of those picture you look at and think, now I wish I had taken one like that.

  • Alien moon

Tried evening shots of this a few time, never yet got a clean edit of the angels and corners (but then it is curved). Really like the close cropped arc you've done.

  • Industrial Teesside

Not far from there this morning myself - Nice detailed B&W.
I've a couple of Hartlepool Nuclear Power station but none matching this.

The 40-150 is a nice lens, although I parted with both kit lenses for a Tamron 14-150.

  • Old ruins.Sbitla-Tunisia

Stood very close to that spot in 1981 - a digital transfer of an Agfachrome slide towards the end of my portfolio.
Tunisia I found to be a fascinating country which we spent a week travelling around.
