Someone remembers

By DaveRyder
Spion Kop cemetery Hartlepool, one of the towns oldest. The recently tended grave is dated 1931. Someone still remembers and cares.

I must admit to liking the colour version, all the different colours in those grasses are lovely, but, I can see why you have used the B&W as the lead, it does fit your title.

I think the horizon could do with a little straighten tbh and there is maybe a touch of camera shake ? unless of course you did HDR on this and you moved ever so slightly, moreso on the right of the frame.
The stone right at bottom left does draw my eye a touch and I would have been tempted to clone it away.

I like the long shadows and the emphasis on the remembrance stone with the flowers on the top. It is nice that someone still cares after all these years.

Nothing gets past critique team... Smile Yes Janet I've tried to HDR two hand held shots in Affinity (the software did its best but a bit obvious in places).
