Good shot....I recall doing something similar with a mate a few years ago when he was leaning on a trig point holding the sun - it was nothing as good as this though!!

Dusan,

I have seen a lot of images like this and in fact there is an email going around with lots of variations on this theme. However, you have made a fantastic image here, easily as good as the one's I've seen if not better than most of them. I love the sillouette and the fact that you still have managed to get all of that detail in the girls hair as well.

It is almost impossible not to blow out the sun in these shots but you seem to have handled it really well as it is just about right for the image.

The sky could have been a touch stronger but I don't really think it matters much as the sky doesn't detract from the image at all.

I can only really see one point in the image that needs to be fixed and it jumped right out at me when the image first loaded, the horizon needs straightening. It is only slightly out but is glaring to me because I was looking for it.

Otherwise, what an improvement on that first image I commented on. Well done.

Dusan,

I have given you my user award because of the huge improvement you have made since that first shot that I commented on. Photography is about the images but it is also about the photographer and my award is for you as much as it is for your image here.

Well Done.

Very beautiful shot in it's own right, but the juxtaposition makes it special. As noted above, this has been done many times before, often badly. You've got the placing of the sun in your model's hand perfect. Well done in taking the time to get it just right.
