This excellent composition in the thumbnails called me in for a look. Now I discover a very little person is the focal point.... Perfect!! TG

A wonderful setting and capture. I love old trees and love to dream about the events which have taken place in its life time...

Funnily enough, she was not so little. I merely waited for someone to pose for me under the tree to demonstrate the huge size of this ancient cedar in relation to puny mankind. Glad you like it as it's a favourite of mine.Smile

Me too. That tree has always fascinated me. As a child I remember seeing its huge limbs stretched probably twice as far as now. They were held up by huge wooden props. And there was a bench all round the base. The 87 hurricane smashed them down and broke off the heaviest branches. Now perhaps wisely the limbs are kept to a sensible size.
