The wood carver

More from the Saxons, and one for the ladies, I think.

This lad showed me a spoon he'd made. It was a good size, probably dictated by the materials (wood) for strength. But it was intricately patterned on the handle, & beautifully made. I bet he didn't finish it with an axe. Smile
