photography not allowed there David, if I remember correctly. Then again, they're Catholics so you'd probably get away with it as long as you repent. Nice light.

Morning Bert, actually it's one of the few things they do allow there... or at least no one appears to stop the hordes clicking away, especially my great niece from Australia who couldn't believe the size of the place and was running around clicking away on her little camera...

Has a strong emotion David, divine light. Ron.

Fantastic clarity and such wonderful light. The size dominates the image beautifully.

The size of the priest compared to the columns gives us the indication of the this enormous place. You have done really well to isolate one person with all the culture vultures around.

sense of how small a human ( even in holy robes) can be in the big house of god?

Like the light and tones in this - really get the feeling of a huge space.
Well captured.

I like the priest's posture and gait, very quiet, very purposeful.
But I'm afraid my first thought is that I bet there's a hidden army of silent, obedient, dutiful, invisible women who polish that floor every night after the visitors have left.

Wonderful, just wonderful!. I bet, knowing you, that you identified that patch of light and just waited until someone suitable walked through it. I remember being utterly gobsmacked by the size and opulence of this place.

Superb, as outlined above. I view this as a reportage shot - in mono. Sad, bad or mad (me, I mean) ?

I really love this.

There's enough detail in the top LHC so that it doesn't become wasted space. Everything leads the eye towards the right of the image, and your light-bathed subject.

Excellent work. Smile

To me the image suggests how small and insignificant we all are in the grand scheme of things... John
