In the centre for mentally and physically disable patients most days the patients sit at a table in the centre of the room.They rarely move from there while, all around them, the nurses and carers move at speed caring for their patients.
A typical day's work.
One of a series taken for an exhibition of photographs shown throughout Umbria informing people of the care services that are available to them if the should ever need them.

How sad. I feel that the patients would be happier if they actually moved around and did something, rather than just sitting. But perhaps they don't have a choice.

Powerful picture David. The angle gives it a slightly uncomfortable feel to it which is entirely appropriate of course.
