Retired several years ago and have found that photography has given me a rewarding hobby to pursue.
I have had several Olympus 4/3rd format cameras over the years and upgraded when finances were available. I now have the recently released Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mk2 together with its 12-40mm f2.8 Pro kit lens .... at the same time I also invested in the Olympus 12-100mm f4 Pro lens. I've found that the 12-100mm lens covers most of my photo needs and together with the Mk2 camera is a compact and very light bit of equipment on days out. With the inbuilt stabilisation of the camera and lens I've also started leaving the tripod at home. Gone are the days of carrying a heavy DSLR and bag with lenses. Mind you I've still kept my Olympus E5 as a reminder of the last of the mirror DSLR's issued by Olympus now that the move seems to be in the direction of mirrorless.
