Why You Should Stop Using Internet Explorer 7

Back in 2008, I wrote a blog post Why You Should Stop Using Internet Explorer 6 . It was a very long rant about IE6, how it made my life hell and why I couldn't understand why so many ePHOTOzine's users still used IE6.

However, now is the time to have a go at Internet Explorer 7 users. IE7 was released in 2006 and it introduced tab browsing to internet explorer users. It also displayed web pages much much better than IE6. This is all good, but the web changes very quickly and with that so do browsers. Therefore, Microsoft released IE8 in 2009.

Internet Explorer 8 was did things even better than IE7 did. It kept with many of the similar interface elements like tab browser. The biggest differences was speed, security and correctness in displaying websites.

10% of all Internet Explorer users on ePHOTOzine are still running IE7. Please please please upgrade your browser.

On a similar note, if you are running Windows Vista or 7, please ensure that you are running IE9, the latest available version of Internet Explorer.

Don't live in the past, upgrade your browser.
