Red Ferrari

By stevie
Managed to 'borrow' a friends new Ferrari F430 to photograph last night. After an interesting demonstration of exactly what happens when full throttle is applied in third gear (!!!) took some shots on the moors above Bolton and Chorley.

sut68 - through the windows blurred as instructed
TyChee - you'd LOVE this machine, even if you don't like the shot!

You have a nice picture.
I would remove the bright spots about an inch above the car.

Great composition and light.
Hard to believe that the same company is behind my wife's Punto!
I think I'd get rid of the bright spots too.

Thanks. I know what you mean about the 'spots' which are actually a row of small stone cottages on the hill - unblurred, with the sun on them, I think they were an asset to the overall shot but I think they may indeed have to go.

I think you need a little more blur on the back end of the car to make this a bit more believeable. VEry nearly there though!

Alternatively, use a slower shutter speed next time, or get your mate to drive a bit faster Wink

How lucky you are Stevie, this is my kind of shot, nicely taken mate.

Nice pic, great colour and compostion. However, if I'm being fussy...which I am! I would say the darkening of the shot on the left hand side is too much, the road could have been left lighter. The blur on the wheels looks a bit dodgy and the writing on the plate is not straight. Plus not sure about the mottled effect on the bottom RHS. IanSmile
