Deconstructed Stone Circle

By marktc
Avebury stone circle deconstructed... A 5 shot panorama from Avebury Stone Circle, Wiltshire. The weather was pretty miserable, so not the perfect time to do this but I think its worked as well as can be expected.

If it gets any views at all I'll be amazed as the thumb nail is ridiculous! Thanks to those that clicked and commented on yesterday's upload

I think it's a vote for doing it rather than the image per se because of the light, but if you'd had bright sunlight it might have given you loads of exposure problems between frames (it is a stitch innit?) so this is probably better from that POV.

How about going back and doing a Hockney on it? That would be fun Smile

Very difficult to see it even normal size, Mark. The image size is only 600 x 74? Stitched together could you not then set the long side as 2000 pixels and upload as a panorama?

A lovely balance between the grass with stones and the sky.
Well captured and stitched together.
