Jamie Battison missing in Eyemouth

By daviewat
I hope it is OK to post this here, things are getting desperate and we just want Jamie found and brought home. So Pete etc I hope you do not mind me posting this here to try to keep awareness of it prominant anywhere possible.

I ask if any tog are shooting along the cliffs/shore around Eyemouth etc to be a little extra vigilant please.

He is the son of a very close family friend and we are really worried/anxious / upset and all the emotions you can imagine with this sort of thing. Me personally I feel uterly devastated as i was part of SAR for many years but now am not able to help.

Thanks

Dave

Jamie Battison, of Coldingham, Berwickshire, Scottish Borders has not made contact with family or friends since Saturday.

Lothian and Borders Police said it was “completely out of character” for him to fail to return home.

He was last seen with a group of friends in The Ship pub in Eyemouth at about 12:30am on Sunday. He failed to return home with his friends at the end of the evening and nobody has seen or heard from him since.

Police are now keen to speak to anyone who can assist them in locating the missing teenager.

He is described as white, 6ft, of stocky build. He has dark brown, neck-length hair and a stubbly complexion. He was wearing dark blue jeans, a grey knitted hoody with stars on the arms, orange tshirt, white beanie hat and black and white Nike skater-type shoes.

A police spokesman said: “It is completely out of character for Jamie to fail to return home or to avoid making contact with friends or family. As such, we are growing increasingly concerned for his well being. Anyone who can help us to trace Jamie is asked to contact police immediately.

“We would also urge Jamie to make contact with friends, family or police and let us know he is safe and well.”

If anyone has any information no matter how big or small please inform the police as soon as you can.

Police contact number 0131 311 3131 or Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
