Must have been so peaceful. Plenty of interest in the foreground and it all leads the eye nicely through the scene.

The kind of light we can only dream about. The in, out and in composition created by the fence and walls to bring the eye to the points of interest in the sky and horizon is inspired.

Thanks for all the comments and the RC, looks like it was worth getting up for!

Mike - suprisingly wasn't too bad weather wise, but there were some snow showers you could see around the place.

Ed - the road was ok, I'd wimped out from heading further into the peaks. It looked like the car park had been used as a skid pan last night. More slippery was the turn into the road back at home!
