i think it would be better with out the road perhaps another angle or position with something in the foreground to make it interesting.
landscapes are not my strong points i find them difficult you need the right light first thing in morningor last thing at night good luck ive started you off CLICK for effort.

A good capture - and I rather like the road. The colours look a little "overcooked" and not quite natural. I've tried to address that in the mod I've ulpoaded.

I agree with Carabosse - the road is fine but a lighter touch with the colour is more effective.

I agree about the colour, a bit overdone. As for the comp, I think using the road as a lead in is a good idea, except in this case it leads your eye rather quickly out of the shot before it's had chance to expore the top half of the image. A different vantage point might have been better in this regard, with the road leading the eye more fully into the shot (though I appreciate you may have been in a car at the time, or at least in the middle of the road, and your choice may have been restricted.)

Anyway, hope that's sonme use
