Nice shot - I would have been inclined to move the poppy to the left hand third - nice work though including the colour pop one. Roll on the spring Happy New Year

I like the contrasting green touches against the corn, as well as the poppy flower, so this has to be colour. I agree with comments above about placement - the main interest is in the centre/right-hand side, I can see a square crop, with a thin slice cut off the right and rather more from the left. The poppy itself does need to be sharper though - I suspect wind movement!

I prefer v1 as i like the contrast of the red and gold with the subtle hints of green. The poppy would be better if a little sharper. But a very pleasing image of the summer to come

I do not mined the popy slighty out of focas it still takes you in to the photo and you see the detail all around it...
I like it and that is what counts...

Two good images but I think the colour version has the edge over V2. Tracey
