My Beautiful Boy

By Debbiee
Again working with layers and textures I used an image which I uploaded a few days ago (I'm not moving) pasted him onto the background layer and used a couple of different textures very subtly over the top.

I made this image to try and show how precious and vulnerable he is.
My reason behind it is because my poor little man was attacked on a bus yesterday. We where on our way to the seaside for the day when he started crying because his big sister was annoying him, so he moved to sit with Daddy, the crying must have annoyed or triggered something off in a young man probably about 18/19 years old with Special needs and he really went for him. Its so lucky I moved him to sit with his dad as he was able to restrain the man and he only managed to catch Daniel really lightly in the face, I dread to think what could have happened if he was still sitting by his sister. It kind of puts into perspective how important they really are and I wanted to try and show it in my image, not sure if its worked.

Not a nice story and the word - restrained - would mean something else! A good image and technically excellent but difficult to comment on. I would like a happier expression and then this would be the opening leaf in an album or scrapbook.
