Water bounce

By Debbiee
Again just having a go at freezing water, this time using a coloured plate and some stones as background props.

I admire your tenacity, Debbie, and you are certainly producing watery images that are different from most that we see. It's just a case of getting it right, and producing an image that you are happy with. This one doesn't work for me because the stone is the main element in the image, and the water that is running over it is not obvious enough. I think you needed a good strong splash on it. Also, the one interesting drop of water is tucked away in the top left corner of the frame. That bit I well as the water circle bottom right. But, inbetween these two interesting elements is the large stone. The bit of colour in the background is nice, but try to avoid having a break in your background, i.e. the darker bit at the top.
