Wedding Day 1902

By debbiehardy
Not one of my usual shots...and I have to admit I didn't actually take this one...
I've been researching my family tree lately, and joy of joys, my Great Aunt found this rather battered and bruised photograph in a box of memories. The Bride and Groom are my Great Grandparents, Willie and Sarah Hannah on their wedding day in 1902. The photo was grimy, torn and almost unrecognisable, but with a bit of patience I've managed to restore it a bit.

Interesting to see the very formal poses. How things have changed and not changed.

Excellent restoration...there was nothing wrong with the lenses back then. I would imagine it was taken with a large studio plate camera.
Well done
