Cow dung being dried on the tree use as fuel for domestic cooking...

By debu
One of the wonderful things about cow dung (gobor) is that it can be dried( this picture shows cow dung dried on the tree) and used as fuel for cooking. Cows eat a variety of leaves, grass, wheat stalks, grains and so on and chew everything thoroughly, hence their gobar is composed of many combustible fibers. Approximately 70% of rural households in India still use unprocessed solid biomass wood, cow dung(gobor) and agricultural refuges for domestic cooking.

How fascinating, Debu. Don't think I would like the job of putting the dung onto the trees to dry, though Sad Carol

Lessons to be learnt here.
We use it for fertiliser in Britin so good that
cow dung (gobor) is recycled in different ways.Love the way it is dried.
