Really love this. Would love to see one flying around in the wild, would be pleased as punch to capture it on camera and over the moon to get something as cracking as this.

actually this is a fairly big crop. Was probably 7ft away at the time (Chris in the front of the car and me in the backseat!), well he was using the 200mm lens and I have a cracking 300mm lens - thought it would even us out a bit! ha ha ha

We are very very lucky at Draycotte - if we can get in with the car before the man on the gate arrives. We just park at one of parking bays and sit and wait - the birds are used to people so come rather close, sometimes too close.

You came back to the light side! This is a cracking shot Mike, that soft focus Iris in the background works a treat. The whole thing has a very pastel feel to it.

Thanks Keith, is definately different for me. Was all in fun to start with (Sean was messing around with a magnifying glass in front of his teeth - made him look like he had the mouth of a horse. You had to be there! Anyway, things calmed down (well it is a mad house here) and he he struck up his normal watching tv pose and I started clicking, once the camera went off he turned off (hence the closed eyes), made him look peaceful - hence the title.

Cracking colours to this Chris, gives it a very sharp feel having the background kept in where most bird shots have a soft blur.

Great amount of detail on the blue tit too.
