Loch Etive - The Broader View

By Dee_licious1
Two shots merged together using PSCS3 - makes it so easy that way!

I left all the editing until after the photo merge. A large amount was cropped out, altered levels, saturation, curves, shadow/highlights, brightness and probably a few other little bits and pieces all done in selected area's rather than the pic as a whole.

Oh, I even cloned out two cars parked up by the waters edge (before I realised that no-one would have been able to spot them anyway due to the massive shrinking in size from over 6000 pixels wide to just 1000!)

Anyway, thank you to everyone who has commented on my pictures from 2006 and whose comments have made me look more closely at my work and then encouraged me to work harder to improve my photographic technique as well as my PShop skills.

May 2007 bring you all health and happiness - no-one really needs more than that do they!

Please view the Bigger Picture.

Hugs to you all

Dee

You done really well with the photomerge Dee. You`ll have to tell be where you buy that invisable tape from lol.
The two pics together make a wonderful landscape and you`ve really done the scene justice. Just as I remembered it. Well done.
