The Boathouse

By Dee_licious1
Taken on Saturday during a litle trip to Scotland. I think a whole year there still wouldn't be long enough. The tiny area we managed to cover on our 4.5 day stay showed area's of such outstanding beauty that out next trip will be booked before this week is out! It was a pleasure and an honour to meet up with Highlander and his lovely wife Tartan Lady during our stay and we must thank them for pointing out Loch Etive to us.

I love the colours to this and the soft reflections on the water. The boathouse stood out for me and the backdrop of the mountain and mist just set it off and was so delightful to watch.

Thank you for looking.

What a wonderful shot - I love the way the boathouse is nestled in the trees, and the distant hill covered in low cloud is beautiful.

Wow, thanks everyone. I must admit to being very proud of this shot. I even behaved and only took 400 pics over the five days. Don't worry though, only the very best of the best will be put up here.

Doug and Louise are the nicest people I have ever met. It felt more like meeting up with very good friends and although Doug was not giving lessons on photography the knowledge we gained is invaluable. Thanks Doug X

Hello Dawn, a lovely shot catching the boathouse and the start to the Autumn colours...the mist and mountains provide a fine backdrop. Beautiful.
