A very imaginative, creative, and well worked out piece my friend, and one which could lend itself to many possible narratives.

Too early for an interpretation for me, the caffeine hasn't kicked in yet. A well worked composite but be careful that the direction of the light matches up.

Dear Deep. it is still working in some way..

it is not sharp.. you have zoomed the same lady as in 'journey'.. many of the elements are same..
The horizon is visibly well marked here, and so I say, the lady has some distance to go.. But it does not seem so far.. and it is a mismatch with the title 'a long way to go'.. One possibility to accept it was when the lady appeared dead tired.. but she does not seem so.. It seems as though she can easily reach there..
The hand of the statue and the bird are a brilliant idea..
One impossible thing that strikes me.. the lady cant go on with the baggage trawling.. In your earlier image it worked because there was a rest-house nearby..
Maybe this is my personal interpretation..
For my own liking I would say the horizon should be not as clear as defined here..

Still a very commendable image.. and does carry the meaning of the title in some way.

Regards. PK.
