Jenn, the color rocks! I love that you filled the whole screen with green to set off the lady bug. Nice use of DOF and a perfect placement of the lady bird (for the Brits) in your comp.
I really like this image.

Beautiful image of ladybird.
I noticed somebody else said lady bug.That must be an American
way of saying it.

Yes--- we have always called them Lady Bugs!

We also have lightening bugs! ( only seen when they flash!}

I always dilligently read the EXIF info, say to myself, check, I can do that with my equipment, but that's as close as I guess I'll ever get to doing what you do Jennnn........ah well!, such is life Wink

That particular shade of green is perfect to highlight the little critter, Jennn. I was going to suggest losing a bit off the rhs, but having looked again (using both eyes this time)Wink then I have changed my mind on that point.

A fabulous image of this harlequin ladybird, they are an invasive species over here and are not welcome at all.
