Good range of tones and shapes. It also looks good (perhaps better) with the bottom cropped to remove the grass.

Nice sight all those different shapes. You could make the image more abstract by cropping the grass, but that would not necessarily make it better.

I estimate the time by shadows as being eleven oclock Ha ha, jolly good picture Stewart. Like the little weed. So we have light and shade and shapes. Jolly Good!

I did a similar picture in Honk Kong but with bamboo scoffolding. The only change I would make to this would be to crop the grass at the bottom off. Would also be interesting to see in B&W.

Love the smell of newly sawn logs Stewart . 3 Times I have gone to comment on these logs and something always diverts my attention .!!Smile My husband always had to photograph a pile of logs if he saw them . Must be a man thing . I like how you have cropped them . Stands out much better x

a nice shot, might i suggest one thing though, get in a bit closer and only include the wood in your shot, might capture a nice patter of all these logs....just a thought, nice though

Very nice. Just got a real fire - this is how I want my living room to look before too long.

I think a tighter crop might improve it, but great as it is.
