Not sure about this, its a bit overexposed at the tip of the cactus.... all comments appreciated :o)

well it's cool subject matter - that's for sure - but I gotta agree with the overexposed part - try upping the contrast in PS and see if that helps - oh but first make a duplicate layer and - oh shoot I'll be darned if I can remember the exact steps - I think you make it hard light in the drop down menu - just fool around and you'll trip on it - that's what I do... you could try this awesome book by Scott Kelby called Photoshop for Digital Photography I think or something close to that - lemme know how it goes.

Thanks Marcel - I have to get photoshop first!! I have played around with the contrast and I think that may be why the tip is a bit washed out, too much contrast. I'll keep playing tho :o)

Great tones...
I am no expert (3 weks old at this) but you have a great eye Delz for tone, beauty and the elegance in an image, like your work.

Excellent shot Demelza,i love the toning,agree that you have to be careful with the contrast as it does tend to wipe out the lighter parts.The composition is superb.well done*click*
