With my 300mm still being repaired by Canon I'm still in macro mode! A Garden Spider (Araneus diadematus) waits patiently for supper!

Still not happy with the lighting - but I'll get the hang of the flash sooner or later!

It's a well composed image Dennis. I don't think the lightings over done, but I think you pushed it to it's limit. Try not using a flash, I'm still waiting on mine Sigma, and see how you get on... very limiting!

I've just noticed I didn't upload the large version - which is a bit annoying!

Tom - I used the flash as there was a slight breeze and I couldn't get a descent shutter speed without it and I wanted to be sure there was no motion blur.
