Moonlit

By Dennis_Bromage
Just back from a very pleasurable but photographically very challenging few days down in Dorset. This was the final evening and is lit by a combination of moonlight and the very last of the reflected light from the sun which had set about 40 mins earlier. It's a very simple little image but I kind of like it Smile

Looks exactly as it did on the back of the camera...

Thanks for looking and PLEASE VIEW LARGE as it seems to make quite a difference on this one Smile

Like the simplicity of this, the colours are about spot on, particularly like the slow shutter.

Very pleasant. The rocks look a bit like creatures rising up out of the sea!

Beautifully shot - the big rock looks like it has a face on it

Great effect the long exposure has given the water and colours above the horizon add to the effect.

Subtle colours work well. Rather serene looking. Great shot.

Hi Den,

You going for Trebarwith mk2 here? Simple and minimalist, works well.

Glad it made it to Mupe. Great little spot isnt it.

Adam.

It's beautiful down there. Definitely by far my favourite of the spots we visited. Hoping to get back in late autumn or winter to have another shot at it when the sun's in a more favourable position...

Lorna thought it was a Trebarwith MkII too Smile

Lovely use of focal length at Mupe, and a super pastal light.
Mupe is a little gem, by nature of it's trouble Smile
