A much better shot might have resulted had you cropped slightly above the elbow. The reason I suggest this has to do with the very busy design of your model's dress. It captures too much of the image, whereas focussing on her face and indeed beautiful hair concentrates the viewer's attention. Furthermore, the tilt of her head coincides with the tilt of her left arm which in some way helps harmonize all skin colours. Regardless, I do agree, this is a "cracking portrait." Regards, Paul
